Part I - The head

Hi,
inspired by the great “Yellow Castle - 375″ in 6x scale created by Duncan Tidmarch and James Sutton I decided to create a minifig myself.

After a quick rebuild ( thanks to Gizmocon for his pictures of his minifigs ) I made a 3D-modell with Bricksmith ( MAC ) and used L3P and MegaPov ( MAC ) to show a quick render.

After finishing bilding the very cool set 8420 I decided to build it in another color like “nice and friendly black” or “Kawasaki green” !

It was not possible to grab all the neccessary parts in black so “lime” it is !

In hours and hours I  ordered the parts at 11 private shops (  bricklink.com ) from Holland, Great Britain and the US.

8420 - original “Ducati”-Red:

… and after the colorchange “Kawasaki”-green! :

All parts you need :

The 4 parts in the upper right corner are lime too in the bike, but I didn’t order them for the second set of lime parts so far. ( The first who’s asking for these parts in the picture will get them for 30€! ;-) )

Inspired by the 3723 official minifig sculpture and some other very nice scaled up designs I wanted to have my own 1:10 crusader knight!

Only missing armor and sword - maybe sometime I will complete my knight.

8275

The motorized Bulldozer ( 8275 ) can be controlled via ir-remote. 4 strong motors. The “power functions” are perfect to create strong vehicle.

With 9V batterybox - so perfect to make some LED lights ! You’ll find some little information about it at the bottom of each gallery picture.

One of the main problems seemed to be the design of the windows. There are a lot of them ( 84 of the big ones ).

Schloss Fenster

Schloss Glücksburg - Ansicht der Fenster ( picture copyright by K.Gerkens )A window is separated in 42 very small ones. Infact of the minifig-scale of the building I decided to separate a window in only 4 parts. The window should be engrossed and there should be a window ledge.

MLCad-File comming soon.
